Relaxation massage is a smooth, gentle, flowing style that promotes general relaxation, relieves muscular tension, plus improves circulation and range of movement.
Your therapist will aim to relax, revive and rejuvenate you at a massage depth that does not cause discomfort.
While relaxation massage is wonderful for you, it is less effective than the deep tissue massage for changing soft tissue tension. We normally recommend deeper styles when you are suffering from pain and leave relaxation for when you just want to ... relax!
Hot stone massage is a type of massage therapy that involves the use of smooth, heated stones. The massage therapist places the hot stones on specific points on your body and may also hold the stones while giving the massage. The localized heat and weight of the stones warm and relax muscles, allowing the massage therapist to apply deeper pressure to those areas without causing discomfort.
